My name is Bette (Betts) Fleming.
My experience significantly contributes to my scoping, proofreading, and transcription abilities. I worked on the clinical side of the medical profession for three years, was a medical transcriptionist for almost four years and have been scoping for almost two years.
I have extensive experience in legal and medical terminology, punctuation, grammar, and research. As a scopist, I have done official court transcripts, depositions, and have transcribed medical, legal, and corporate conventions.
I use Total Eclipse versions 4.3 and 5.0 software while scoping. I use Microsoft Word's review feature for proofing documents or can proof within Eclipse without audio. I am also proficient using current computer technology and multiple software applications.
My goal is to establish a mutually productive relationship with my clients and help you get your scoping, proofing, and transcription needs met in a timely manner. In the three years that I have been scoping, I have never missed a turnaround deadline. I believe good communication is essential in the successful completion of a project, especially early in a new relationship.
Equally important, I have two grown daughters and four incredible grandchildren. I also have a gentle and sometimes wacky sense of humor.
